An interesting perspective on clockworks.  Still somewhat offtopic, what I do
with guitar picks, is that I take the roughest aluminum oxide sandpaper that I
can find at Elsie's Hardware Store, and I rough up all the picking edges so that
a smooth pick never touches the strings.  And if they wear smooth, I take the
sandpaper and rough them up again.

The one uniform thing is that I allways like the rough edges.  The idea of
acheiving perfection and uniformity allways cracks me up.
