I have publically pushed and supported these programs, and in this day and age it is simply not good enough to do this. First off, the chessmaster program is not something that people will really want to pirate. Not like Adobe, Macromedia, Symantec and other more expensive well know applications. Its a cheap program and thus less likely people will bother copying it. Lets face it how many people play chess, let alone buy a chess program. Now if it was a well know application, like web design software, Graphic software, virus checking programs. Then I would say well okay to the protection. But then still you cannot have a cd in the drive when using these applications anyway. Simply put, it is simply a waste of time, and more of a hassle. You tell whoever is in charge, to get off their high horse. Chessmaster programs are not that much in demand you know to worry about high levels of piracy.
