I believe that one can purchase processors with 256k, 512k, 2Meg, etc of on-board cache (L2?). My question concerns whether more is better? The cost is much greater as you go up the chain, but would 2 Meg make a program stronger than the 256k we typically see for sale? I know that 2 Megs is called a "server" chip, not a typical home user type... Thanks.
