About the collector's value of old programs, some of those real
old dedicated chess computers would be priceless by now. Remember
an old Scysis machine that had a little crane to move the pieces?
It's playing strength was laughable by today's standards, but what
the heck!
At a flea market about a year ago, I got all I could fit in a
plastic bag for a dollar, and it included a Fidelity 8 level, minus
adaptor. It looked like it had never been used. If you get any of these
oldies, keep them, they'll be worth more than the later ones.
