Depends what you use the program for. If you just play it against
other engines, ratingwise you won't probably get much new value.
But if you enjoy playing against the computer, it makes big difference.
I never play engine against engine, but play against them. Among the CB
engines, I find only Hiarcs to provide enjoyable humanlike opponent.
Of other engines, Rebel 10 (which was the last version I got)
was on par with Hiarcs in terms of enjoyable humanlike play, yet
different enough in style to be worth taking trouble and switching
to DOS. Gambit Tiger, judging from reviews here may be in similar
category.
