When the invincible Capablanca played Alekhine it was similar to this match, most people favouring Capa, including Capa himself. But Alekhine was better prepared, and keener. History repeating itself. But I believe this match is not FIDE endorsed, altough I could have heard wrong. If that is the case, then Kasparov is still the official champion regardless of the outcome.
