I really don't think so. Not close at all. I can't recall praising individual games or commending other beta testers on their awesome achievements, or starting threads for that purpose. I've answered questions and posted what Gandalf thought about various testpositions whether it solved them or not. Furthermore, I didn't post any games nor did I claim that Gandalf was the strongest program overall. Just mentioned that I thought the data indicated that Gandalf was the strongest WinBoard engine and that I liked the way it plays chess, win or lose. If you can recall anything that looked like dubious or insincere behaviour, please let me know. Mogens.
