I'm not the one with the problem. Better is a value judgement. Sorry, but your "provocative questions" are not the correct way to get legitimate answers. Procative questions, as you do, cause misunderstandings. Mogens, I remember I had a great problem with you in the Winboard Forum. Do you remember it? The cause was the Crux Winboard Engine. I also remember how I was trying to help Tony Worsman. Then, you posted your "provocative questions". The result was a confrontation between me and Tony. What is the real sense of this? I cannot understand this kind of attitude. Could you explain me? For example, Mike Adams is programming a new Winboard Engine called Pulsar. He has been asking for several issues about the Chess Partner Gui and the Winboard Engines. I think his questions are legitimate because he wants to remove any doubt about what is the correct way of using the Chess Partner Gui with his Winboard Engine. He doesn't use "provocative questions" as you call your questions. I tried to answer all his questions in this Forum. The same thing goes to another people who has asked something in this Forum: if I am in the know of an useful something that can help them, I don't have any problem in posting it for helping them. I posted an interesting position some weeks ago that Rebel Tiger solved. It was a strategic pawn sacrifice. The other Top chess programs weren't able to solve this specific position and others ones with strategic themes. Tell me: Is this simplistic "answers"? It's your own opinion. Of course, knowing as you write, I have to get this kind of postings yours. :( I don't know if you are a very good ranked Player. I have an Elo beyond 2300 and the Rebel Programs Suite have been a great help for increasing my Elo. What's the problem with that? Please, tell me how you select typical positions, either strategic positions, or tactical positions. Please, don't tell me if you use the most known Chess Test Suites because they have too mixtured chess themes. Do you only obtain statistic results from Computer Tournaments? Or you can detect bugs in the positional play of any program? Tell me again: Do you have the enough Chess Knowledge for establishing the simplistic level of the people declarations? If you are a practical chess player ranked as an International Master or something, my apologies for this paragraph. For example, tell me if you use specialized Chess Magazines for collecting Positions into different Chess Categories. Is this simplistic? Not really. I have spent three years in finding positions of Positional Pawn Sacrifices. Tell me: what do you want to know about the new Rebel Tiger, Rebel Century or the Chess Partner GUI? I won't respond anything of this kind of arid messages about the way you post your messages. However, If you want specific answers of the Rebel Tiger Suite, I don't have any problem in answering you.
