Playing the opening at the strength of Fritz 6, or even better, is not hard for
a computer, and this sort of approach should achieve it. This kind of thing
might impress people, but it won't win more games. If you want Yace to play
stronger, concentrate on improving the chess engine, both for searching speed,
and for more positional knowledge.

Any opening line where Yace has lost a game by getting an inferior position
before move 25. If you do a book, the important thing is to put things in it
that avoid these positions. If you can make Yace automatically update its book
when it loses a game, that will save you future work.
