So another idea is for black to play ... Ka8 in response to Qb4. I didn't like 52 ... a6 either. There are lots of moves here for both sides. Unless my program had a deep understanding of what was going on, which it doesn't, I don't think I'd be happy to see such an exchange offer coming out of mine. bruce
