I agree. Crafty is the only concrete example I can think of as well (and maybe Comet). The current testing conditions do leave room for continued complaining about position learning, opening book and so forth. Of course there's a lot of semi-secret WinBoard engines around that could benefit later on, when and if released commercially or publically. Mogens.
