No I don't think that's the real reason but h6 (at once) is also not the best
contineuation
I already showed this too the pawn stands well on h5 but on h6 indeed becomes a
target an isolated pawn has also benifits in a tactical way the proof of this is
the Sicilian alapin defense (on it's best on both sides).
after 2..d5 Black never can get the d pawn because of the tactical moves White
can make
Though here your right in (programs don't like the isolani here neither that's
also why it's almost imposible for a program to play this variation on it's best
not that the result would change to much though.
I came to the conclusion this variation is a draw
