I just installed Hiarcs,732 on a new Gateway which is running Windows me. Everything is working ok except for Hiarcs not being able to use it's opening book. The book works fine with the CD installed and then i copied the Tree to my disc. I rebooted and found that it's book shows that it's there when i check if it's loaded, but it just won't use it. I installed the program the same way on my other computer that uses Win.95 and there was no problem when i copied the opening tree to my disc, so i'am wondering if Windows me is responsible! I checked in my ChessBase folder where there is a folder called Books that shows there are 2 files called Hiarcs.ctg (127MB) and New Book.ctg (8MB). I also have a file, Hiarcs.ctg (33.6MB) in my Hiarcs732 folder. Here is just how it looks: C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Books\Hiarcs.ctg (Hiarcs.ctg is 127MB) C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Hiarcs732\H732.ctg ( H732.ctg is 33.6MB) Thankyou in advance for any help you could lend me, Best Regards,Terry
