P.S. If I understand correctily it sounds like the interface is set to read the
opening database from disc not the harddrive. I have never used the hiarcs 7.32
interface, only the fritz/junior 6 interface. In them a new openings database
can be accessed by:
1. click on file
2. click on open
3.click on openings book
4. find the folder you have saved the database too and click once on it then the
open button.
         The article above though goes into much more (and better) detail
though.
