The Tiger.dll (version 12e) for Chess Assistant and Chess Tiger 12e for the Chess Partner GUI is the same. I think I can get the best answere of my questions from the Tiger programmer, the reason for me to ask here. OK, now I have a good answere. Interesting for me and I think for tousends WinBoard Fans is the questions ... Can I played with Tiger and WinBoard Engines ? I think you have not an interest that user can play with your program under differnet GUI. This is not a problem with a WinBoard engine. The most user have fun on engine matches with 1 PC and have not an autoplayer. OK, Tiger is not a WinBoard engine but I think a good way is Chess Assistant. Is Chess Tiger now not compatible to Chess Assistant is your programs for engine - engine fans not interested. User could not played against other, I mean 65 free other programs, under the same GUI ! For other programmer, the best example is Steen Suurballe with his comercial program Gandalf, is it important that user can played under his favorite program under his favorite GUI. I hope that all programs are compatible to all GUIs because this is good for the user.
