Being 15+ years younger doesn't hurt either. Especially in the later rounds.
Also, Kramnik, like Fischer, is a true chess fanatic, chess is all that matters.
Kasparov, while certainly dedicated to chess, dabbles also in politics,
shameless self-promotion, media hype, business, organizing,... For him chess
seems to be more of means for self-aggrandizement than the essence of life (as
it is for Kramnik or Fischer). At the end Caissa will reward her truest
children.
