>It should never "lock up" (it _never_ does for me). None of the Crafty versions that I have ever used has ever locked up during a game. I believe that Mark is the operator of Cubebox(C) on FICS, and uses a Dual system. Possibly something wrong there? He also uses NT 4.0. I tried Crafty on NT.40 the other day, and everything was fine until the endgame phase when Crafty suddenly lost when up +3.98 in a game. I found the error to be a tablebase, so again, no problems with Crafty.
