Maybe it's just coincidence... if you look at the result of the dutch championships http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/thstorm/docc00.htm it seems that it is clearly an advantage to play white as a computer. for example: Chesstiger only lost 2 times a half point. Both times he had black. King looses 2.5 points total, 2 points with black. Quest looses 3 points, 2 with black.... My own engine ( XiniX) played 5 times white, scoring 2 wins and 3 draws. ( against the later number 2,5 and 9 ) 6 Times black, scoring 1 point. Can somebody who is playing a lot of comp comp games check if this? Has this always been the case or is it something from the last years. Tony
