i was in a similar situation  i had hiarcs 7.32 and down loaded fritz6 light . i
wanted the fritz6 interface so i got junior 6 .to me junior 6 is not that strong
in fast games (hiarcs,fritz,crafty) out did it .in slow games it is right up
there with the best .so depending on if most of your games are slow games or
fast games junior 6 is not the best choice .but if slow tourn chess is the order
of the day junior is prob better .
