When you see the Hiarcs.ctg file in the box, are you sure it is the one on the
HD as opposed to the CD? Click on the arrow of the pulldown menu to be certain
it isn't displaying the wrong book though with the same name. Another good way
to check if it is using the HD book is to try to import something to it (such as
games to update it). If it gives an error it is working with the read-only book.
I once had this problem BTW and that is all it turned to be. Finally, you could
look at the .ini files and see if it is saving the book's reference correctly.
