Prior to beginning I expected both Tiger 13.0 and Gambit 1.0 to score better against Fritz 6a as results posted at the beta forum indicated such. Now I think depending on how else Fritz scores it could win but having both Gambit and Tiger crush Hiarcs by large scores it won't be easy. Also Junior6a as yet hasn't played and during the beta period I only played about 10 games with it and Tiger 13.0 at 5/0 (closest time) which was split. So Junior 6a has chances. I'm not sure how it also will fair against Hiarcs. Shredder 4, I personally don't think stands much chance at least by my own testing at fast time controls during the beta period. Gandalf is an unknown for me but from reading posts here it will fair better in the 40'/40 than at 5' 3". Though there are a number of Gandalf's at ICC playing 5/3 and scoring well. Nimzo typically is not a known blitzer and will likely do better at 40'/40. My opinion is Tiger is stronger at Blitz than Gambit but that isn't based on enough games to qualify. Each program here will play 280 games so it should give some idea. Sarah.
