Tim, Thanks a lot for your help. I still have two questions: a) Is there a "rule of thumb" to calculate the approximate relationship between a chess machine maximum rating - given a fixed time or depth - and the way it degrades as you change one of those variables (time or depth)? Is there a place on the web where I could read and learn a little bit about this? b) What's GambitTiger Web address ? Thanks, Claudio.
