In addition to whats been stated about match play not being the same as tournie
play or 16 games being to few for statistical significance you should bear in
mind that elo is a historicle measurement. It is based entirely on the history
of wins and losses in the past.  This can be useful for predicting performance
in the future but just as a company can report healthy profits on its income
statement for say 5 years this does not mean they are garanteed to do well in
the next year.  Mike Adams
