Subject: Computer Chess Historians - I Need Your Help!

Greetings All,

I have begun to collect a few classic older chess computers and I would like
create a small data sheet to go with each one. To that end I would like to hear
from anyone who can provide some information about each one.

The information can be technical, anecdotal, informative, historical or
entertaining in nature or content. I have a few computers now and the collection
is always growing so I will post an information request one at a time.

I've been around computer chess since they were first technically possible and,
therefore, have some recollections of most of them. What I'm after is
information which is a little more substantial or accurate than my
recollections!

Today's subject is a true classic - The Boris Diplomat by Chafitz Inc of
Maryland. I believe it's heyday was around 1979. My specimen in mint in the
original box.

Can any of you fill in the blanks?

Thanks

David
