Subject: Recommendations for a Chess Database

Hello, I want to buy my first comprehensive database. I'm looking at Chessbase
7(8) and Chess Assistant 5.1.  They are about the same price.  Does anybody
prefer one or the other with regard to features, troubleshooting, updates,
customer service, etc.?  I know that there are formal review of these databases
out there, but there is nothing like getting input from actual users.
