ALL the testers i know have the same results: on a 1 ghz machine with game in one hour, gandalf is slightly behind fritz6a. on tournament level (3h/game) on the same machine gandalf is better than f6a. so you need a very fast computer or a long time control for really great gandalf-results. if you compare the ssdf-results with the hardware they use, the result fits. but give gandalf a faster machine and you can see how it turns... marcus
