There was at least one compiler that had problems detecting and reporting EOF correctly. It wasn't on a windows system, for reference. The only thing to watch out for is that the last line of the crafty.rc file _must_ be terminated with a CR/LF, as all other lines are. It is possible (using notepad) that the last line is not terminated, which will cause problems. Simplest solution is to always have a blank line on the end of the crafty.rc file. > >Could me a person say on which position I must set the parameter and the reason >for this parameter ! > >Here the Crafty.rc from my config2.zip file. >(configuration file for 68 "WinBoard Engines", I made today an update) ! > >Download the file (24.019 bytes): >http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/schach/download/sonstige/config2.zip > >-Crafty.rc configuration file- > >hash 24M >hashp 4M >cache 4M >drawscore=0 >log on >book on >book random 1 >book width 5 >learn 7 >resign 9 >tbpath=f:\nalimov >egtb > >I know that parameters are default but I think it is better when the important >parameter are available in the Crafty.rc file for different experiments. > >Thanks ! > >Best >Frank
