Thumbs up to its creator. It beat the >default Century engine 2 out of 2 I played. Thanks for the kind words. However, as we all know, 2 games is a "rather small sample size" (to be kind). I myself have not played Rebel.eng vs Storm.eng I suspect that Rebel.eng would win handily. I created Storm.eng so that humans playing Storm would see a very aggressive, Gambit-Tiger-like opponent. I am not sure how I did -- Christophe put a LOT of effort and specialized knowledge into Gambit Tiger. I also suspect that Gambit Tiger is a more sophisticated solution to the problem of how to create an attacking chess program. Having said that ... it sure is fun to watch Storm hack away at his human opponents. I suspect that computer programs would be ideally suited to show Storm just how his attacks are misdirected. I have seen Junior 6 do just that on numerous occasions. I have also seen Junior 6 lose in less than 30 moves -- it sure was gory. At any rate -- Enjoy the Rebel 11 programs! They are truly excellent and offer tremendous value and variety to the owner. Roy
