OFFICIALLY, Chessmaster 8000 only supports Windows 95/98. This is because, due to Mattel Interactive's weak financial state, they could only hire enough testers (8) to test on those two platforms. HOWEVER, two of the four programmers had Windows 2000 on their development machines, so obviously it works. The development team tells me that CM8000 will "work fine" on Win 2000, NT and most likely ME as well (although no testing at all was done on ME). jm
