The odds of it happening are, however, 1,000,000 to 1 . More likely, Kasparov will win one, draw one, win one, draw one and thereby retain the title. Everybody likes a match where the trailing team comes from behind. It adds to the excitement. The drawish play of the two chess giants is sort of what happens when you have a 10,000 horsepower locomotive pulling in the opposite direction of a similarly powered locomotive. The outside observer doesn't feel the strain on the "tug- of-war" connecting cable and might say that nothing is happening. We prefer the action of two such locomotives colliding with one another at 200 Km/hr. Such is life, Tim Frohlick
