Since it appears that you plan to run this tournament in a Chessbase interface (is that true?) then almost definitely Crafty, because a native engine will be stronger than an engine run through a Winboard adopter, so my guess is that Crafty is the strongest downloadable native engine for the Chessbase interfaces. No, I have not tested that. Pete
