Subject: Re: Unfair commercial adverts for christmas time

Go up one level in this thread

What exactly are you objecting to? I see no 'flagrant commercial advertising' of
*anything*; not of a program, not of ICD. This is a very legitimate discussion,
with Christmas coming up. Of *course* people are going to talk price. What do
you expect? How on earth is anything said in this thread an 'unfair advantage
for ICD'? Yes, it would be natural to go to ICD (as they sponsor this service
which is a great aid to computer chess enthusiasts, and they offer great service
and prices), but it would also be as natural to go to ChessBase USA or to
rebel.nl. I see no advertising here at all; I see nothing of the sort. I'm
sorry, but to me your complaint is way off base.
