depends on the strength of your opponent.  with the new 1600 mhz kyro-tech, or
with dj running on one of the dual 1gig machines, your chips will be moaning.
but all other things equal, the tbird is the best so far, running on win98.
most motherboards now, with the soft front side buss feature, will allow this
processor to be overclocked to about 1100 mhz, with the proper cooling. should
hit about 1100 kns with small hash setting, in fritzmark. my kns constantly
change during a game. toward the endgame with few pieces on the board, i have
seen 1350 kns with mine, running fritz6.
  anyone that thinks hardware is a small part of computer vs computer chess,
must lose alot. (i will continue to spend my retirement on upgrades)
