I have installed the Rebel 3 50-day version (I was a beta tester) and I have
had no problems. You downloaded the .zip file, I suppose? What did you unzip
with? I used Cutezip and had to use a two-step install process to get the
.pif files into the start menu:

1. Unzip the download into a temporary directory, and:
2. Run install.exe (part of the unzipped file). This installs Rebel 3 into
a folder c:\Century3
3. Run rebgroup.exe to get the shortcuts placed into your start menu.
You'll get a message in Dutch or German and will have to tell it where to
find rebel.exe (which is in the Century3 folder).

I am told that in you use Winzip steps 2 and 3 all happen at once.

Please email me (bbriley@cin.net) with any questions, or post here to this
board and an expert Rebel beta tester can also help.
