I had heard a lot of people saying negative remarks about Kasparov, such as Kasparov has over 70 rating points over Kramnik but has been unable to win one single game from Kramnik. The most important factor that most people are forgeting about is, that when the teacher has reached the point where there is nothing else left that his did not teach his pupil, then they become equal with one little exception, and that is that his pupil being usually younger has more stamina and will power than his teacher. I remembered watching old Karate movies where the teacher told his pupil I had thought you everything I know, now it is is up to you young Dragon to apply my technique when the time come. The only difference from the Karate movies was, that I never remembered watching the pupil having to confront his old teacher; there was always some bad guys around the village causing trouble. Anyway, Kasparov has a lot to be proud of his pupil Kramnik, since he knows that his sucessor is like his own shadow when his was younger, full of ambitions and stamina. Pichard.
