Subject: Chess Academy 2000 Winboard Engine Support?

Author: Sam Slutzky

I tried a little while ago to get my program working with the default
configuration file supplied for it with the Chess Academy 2000 English demo I
downloaded from their web site. However, CA always tells me right off the bat
that my program does not support all of the features it requires (even though it
does). Also, if I click on "draw", it always says that my engine agrees even
though it never actually polls my engine by sending it "draw." It appears that
there are a number of settings that must be put in the engine configuration file
to let it know that my engine really does work (shouldn't it be assumed that it
does since they are packaging the engine?), but I have no idea what these might
be. Did anyone have any similar troubles and does anyone know of a solution?
:) Any help is appreciated.

Sam
