This might be the first real clash of the new guys. I saw Shep's site and saw a tournament set for November. The field includs Chessmaster 8000, Fritz 7, Hiracs 8, Nimzo 8, Junior 7, Shredder 5, Rebel Century 3, and Tiger 13. Also 2 old programs and the top 2 in the Shep Championship 2000 will be selected. I think Shredder 5, Century 3, Tiger 13, have the best chance of winning. Fritz 7, Nimzo 8, and "possibly" Chessmaster 8000 will have a shot. Question: Is there a secondary time control for this? If so, what is being used for Chessmaster since it doesn't have one? Castle2000
