I consider that amusing. I didn't take Bruce's comment(s) as any sort of criticism... just a suggestion on how to automate something that is a pain to do manually. The only reason I don't do everything he suggested is that I use both xboard and my custom interface. And hacking xboard is a pain as new versions make the hacks break at times... I won't post the type of vehicle I drive, nor the color. Because I assume I would then get flooded with advice about why I chose the wrong brand name, the wrong model, the wrong color, the wrong engine, etc. I really don't consider it any of _my_ business how someone runs their computer account. If they want to play me, and they meet my rules, then we play. If I want to play them, and I meet their rules, then we play. Otherwise we don't. I'm certainly not going to complain about the many computers with !computer in their formula. That is _their_ business, IMHO. I'm not running Crafty on ICC as a public service. I have quite selfish motives in doing this, mainly to make it play better. I reserve the right to do that in any way I feel will work best for me... Everyone else is also free to do the same with no bickering from me. I guess I should be raising hell with Hsu and Campbell because I can't play a game vs DB or DB Jr. But somehow I feel that they have the right to play when and where they want/can. The entire scenario is actually quite amusing, when you think about it. Something about "gift horse" and "mouth" comes to mind...
