I don't know because i never play blitz... maybe you ask some blitz guys... i do almost ever play 60/60 or 40/120. also: make sure the cui you have is compatible with the VERSION of wbengine.exe from remis coulom. I lost ONE day to find out that i am trying to fix a cui with a new wbengine version that is not supporting the initcom command anymore. initcom is only working with the old wbengine versions, for the new versions of wbengine you would need a different cui-file. now i have different versions for different programs ! i was unable to manage to get cui files written for crafty and gandalf on the same wbengine-version !! its not that easy. first it worked well with gandalf and an older version of wbengine. then i tried crafty, used the similar batch and it did not work. then remis told me to download latest version. i did it and this "latest" version did not run with the initcom command anymore. so i now really have a working cui for crafty with the new wbengine, and a working cui for gandalf with the old wbengine. log special command gandalf xboard nodebug start ponder on send level 40 120 0 x enginewin win on x win232 comport 2 numgames 50 initcom wait off this above cui works perfectly well on my machine together with the OLD wbengine file. it has initcom as command into the cui, therefore you need the old wbengine. if somebody else knows better , i am open for anything :-))) the gandalf files and the wbengine and the cui file are in ONE directory. you don't need the winboard stuff in that directory. for the syntax of the blitz games level ask somebody else. its 3-0 for gambit tiger 40/120 !
