Well, it looks like just about everyone has confirmed their
participation for this weekend. We should have a great tournament!
We have some serious hardware for this second ICC CCT, so there
should be some excellent chess. I think Storm takes the cpu
heavyweight prize.
If there are an odd number of entries, I believe Steve Lim
will run Gnuchess. However, it would be nice to see TSCP take
that role, I know Tom has improved it since last time. (I also
need to get at least one win.)
I propose channel 64 as the tournament chat channel. We had a
different channel last time, not sure if that's really necessary.
You might want to set your open variable off, so as to avoid being
matched by someone prior to the start of a round.
Predictions: Crafty will again win the tournament, Amateur will
finish near the bottom, and we will all have a good time, without
a single (serious) argument.
So, we'll see you all on ICC in channel 64 at 10:00am EST! Actually,
you might want to connect 15-20 minutes ahead of time, just to catch
the first-round pairing argument. :)
