I do recall laughing at the panic that surrounded the new year and saying things
like "see, I told you, no problems".  But since I have a terrible record with my
predictions, then my prediction might be finally coming false.

I'm trying to figure out the significance of 10-24-2000, but there probably
wasn't any, more likely that the significant day would have been 10-20-2000.
That just looks like an ominous number to me.
