It depends on a position and phase of the game, I use:

MIDDLE GAME:

1. Crafty 17.13 to give an initial overview of how the game should be continued.
2. Yace 0.23 , LG2000 2.9a and Fritz 6a for positions where there are tactical
problems to be cleared.
3. junior 6a for positions that need partly tactical and strategical moves.
4. Hiarcs 7.32 for positions that need strategical maneuverings.

END GAME:

1. Crafty 17.13 for an overview of a possible direction of the game.
2. Junior 6a to maximize advantage or defend slightly inferior position
3. Fritz 6a to deliver a killing move.

OVERALL:
I do prefer to analyze positions together with all of the above engines.
I often use Hiarcs 7.32 to establish a plan for a middle game. I suggest a
move to show of what I have planed and Hiarcs 7.32 will consider it in its
analyses.

SUGGESTION:
Try to determine or familiarize what engines are best in what position (closed,
open, tactics and strategic positions, end game, typical weaknesses and others)
