If my info is right, Shirov won Kramnik no so long ago in a preliminary match,
but Kasparov didn't like to face him in a match for the World title. The Spanish
press mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Shirov went to court to fight for his
clear right to be the candidate to the World Championship.

So let's expect a final match between Kramnik and Shirov to decide who is the
real World Champion.

Tomas.

... by the way, although I consider Shirov to be the best chess player in the
world today, I know that he has just lost a game some hours ago in the Olympics
in Istambul against Boris Gelfand... ;-)
