I remember that Hsu was interested in doing a match with kasparov and his excuse not to develop deep blue chip was the fact that he was afraid that kasparov is not going to agree to a match(Kasparov did not agree to promise hsu that he will play a match against Deep blue chip). If this is the reason than Hsu can ask kramnik if he wants a match against Deeper blue. I see no reason that a match against kramnik in 2001 or 2002 will be less interesting than a match against kasparov. Uri
