one loss doesn't constitute what the player is and his present day strength. I
think Shirov should've played Shirov (Leon on ICC) for the title but it didn't
work out that unfortunately. It is funny though that no backing could be found
for the GK vs. Shirov match but when it came time for Kramnik money was found
pretty readily ... Not that Kramnik doesn't deserve a shot cause he certainly
does and I praise him for his good play verse GK  but I do feel Shirov got
screwed for sure and he is the forgotten man in this scenario.
