Tiger is better than Crafty also in tactics. I expect Crafty to do better if both programs use the best hardware that they can use(it means that Crafty is going to use a good alpha with many processors). I think it will be more interesting to see a match in this conditions and I am not sure which program is going to win. > > >let the time tell the "truth" and we can talk later again about >this topic when you tried to play your own games. > >then we can both reevaluate our point of views... > >in the moment it is more speculation from your side. >i can only present the games. > >gambit-tiger keeps trying the plan. >in almost any game. >thats the same thing cstal always tried. >also in almost any game. > >both can play without saccing and without attacking. >but its rare. I do not think that it is rare. I saw that tiger got an endgame in 5 games out of 13. Tiger won 3 games in the endgame(games 9,10,12) and drew 2 games in the endgame. 5 out of 13 are not most of the game but is not close to be rare. I expect to see more endgame against stronger opponents. Uri
