I feel a bit (arguably) dissappointed, because I thought that world champion
level chess was higher than ever before in history, and that Kasparov was a
standard who's opinions cannot be disputed, regarding chess. Now it looks like
Kasparov was only an average champion who climbs right down like every one else,
and now there are no more dreams anymore, just simple Kramnik and his freinds
who are on a level very close to him.
Or what? Is Kramnik much much better than a year or two ago?
It looked like Kasparov didn't feel like fighting, and he always wanted Kramnik
to take over from him, as he often predicted would happen.
Maybe Kasparov wasn't the most fitting opponent for Deeper blue, either.
