I understood that after the 5 3 time control tournament there is going to be 40/40 time control tournament. I think that if the target is to see which program earns more from time then it is better to use 50 30 time control because it is possible that some programs play better or worse at tournament time control relative to fisher time control. On the other hand 40/40 is better if the target is to try to predict the ssdf results. Uri
