So far I have 4 games played and Gambit Tiger is winning 3.5 to 0.5 ! CSTal-2
has about a 3-1 hardware advantage and still has trouble winning vs Gambit
Tiger. The games are not what you might think. They are not great attacking
games with lots of exciting moves. They are pretty "normal" chess games with
Tiger outsearching CSTal-2. It is typical to see Tiger go 14/15 ply while
CSTal-2 is doing 11/12 ply. I still like the CSTal-2 program. I just wish it
had been cleaned up and made more efficient. By the way it is CSTal 2.03 I'm
using. I was never interested in the 2.5 version. CSTal 2.03 has the Athlon
900 with 256 Meg Ram and most tablebase files. Chess Tiger has the PII-333 with
96 Meg hash tables. I will post the games when I clean up the PGN file a
little.
