Deciding between only three players is much too few to be a valid solution, unless its primary aim is finding a single World Champion. I don't think that is a correct estimation. The Deep Blue match ruined a lot of interest in the human vs. human confrontation at the chessboard. The different federations and associations didn't exactly help either. Without publicity there will be no significant funding. There's reason to doubt that BGN will survive financially without Kasparov as front. Time will tell. Mogens.
